Abcourt is a 100% owner of the Abcourt-Barvue silver zinc mine, located near Val d'Or, Quebec. This mine was in production from 1985 thru 1990. Abcourt is making preparations to go back into production and is considered near term. Feasibility study completed in July, 2007. The first eight years of production will be done through open pit mining as the ore body is near surface. The mine has $12 million in maintained infrastructure as it is a past producer. A second property (Vendome-Barvallee) is located 7 miles away from the mine. A silver resource has been identified at this property and exploration will be on-going. Abcourt is also 100% owner of the Elder gold mine. The mine is a past producer with 13 million dollars in infrastructure and a resource of 172,000 ounces of gold.
